Learn about the importance of effective writing in college applications, including insights and tips to enhance your self-presentation throughout your application.

From emails and social media to campus visits and interviews, there are many ways to research colleges and universities. How can prospective students really find the information they value most? Join two Bowdoin admissions officers for a presentation and discussion on how prospective students can best connect with admissions offices. Students will walk away with tips to understand and research their "non-negotiables"—features that a great college should have to be considered home for them.

Get a general overview of the admissions process catered toward parents and guardians. Topics covered include researching schools, essay writing, application timelines, financial aid, and ways to support your students throughout the process.
