    Campus Overnight Visits

Consider Bowdoin home for the night.

Staying overnight with a student gives you the opportunity to experience everyday life at Bowdoin first-hand. There is no curated experience or planned itinerary for an overnight visit – you’ll be welcome to attend whatever your host has planned for the evening. It’s possible that includes homework, so you should bring a book or some work of your own. Otherwise, you’ll eat in the dining hall, stay in a dorm, and participate fully in campus life.

Overnight visits for high school seniors are available from mid-September to mid-December.

Registration is closed.  Register for an overnight will become available in August 2020.

Select a date from the calendar to register for an overnight visit. Please note that we only offer overnight visits on select Sunday – Thursday nights in the fall semester and you must register at least 14 days before your intended date of visit. As you plan your travel, please keep in mind that you will need to meet your host at 5 p.m. at the Smith Union Information Desk on the evening of your overnight visit.
