Sign up for an interview

Students planning to apply for admission for entry in fall 2026 can request a 30-minute in-person or virtual interview. Interviews are conducted by either a Bowdoin admissions officer or a current student, depending on availability.

No matter how you interview—whether in person or virtually—or with a student, staff member, or Bowdoin alum, they're all official interviews. We look forward to meeting you!

On campus and virtual interviews with staff and students conclude on November 21; Availability is limited.

If you are unable to find a time that works for you, virtual interviews are available with Bowdoin alumni across the world and run through December 31. These are official admissions interviews and are a great way to learn more about the College.

If you plan to apply Early Decision 1, your optional interview must be completed by November 15.
If you plan to apply Early Decision 2 or Regular Decision, your optional interview must be completed by December 31.
